Back To All

This project focuses on the revitalisation of an existing conservatory, transforming it into a functional, comfortable garden room.

Although suburban conservatories often gain a poor reputation—particularly around heating and cooling performance—this scheme demonstrates how a thoughtful, fabric-first approach can give these structures a new and meaningful life.

Upgrades and repositioning of heating elements, the addition of thermally backed blinds, and subtle material changes allow the space to be used throughout the year. Repainting and careful detailing soften the existing structure while enhancing daylight and the connection to the garden.

The result is a calm, adaptable garden room that retains the spirit of the original conservatory while resolving its performance challenges.

Our Happy Client:

A truly wonderful personal experience. Robyn’s skill in design and attention to detail is beyond words. I love the fact that she wants to know your personality and what is important to you and integrates designs to suit. Robyn has completed a design for our conservatory (renamed “Garden Room. “). She used a couple wall pieces (spoon collection) inherited from my mother to base her design around. This room has been a source of frustration for me over the years as I am not a fan of conservatories or conservatory cane furniture. It has had a very contemporary feel which has resulted in many changes of furniture incurring a lot of costs in trying to achieve a look that I like. With renovations nearly complete and starting to add the accessories, our conservatory has been truly transformed in a Garden Room. Already it is a room that is an extension of our family’s personality traditions bringing in a combination of old and new. Incredible testimony to Robyn’s business brand and ethos of “Reworks”

Thank you so much for your dedication and care, the result is amazing x x
