We primarily work on residential extensions and renovations — including side return and rear extensions, loft conversions, internal reconfiguration and whole-house refurbishments — alongside selected commercial retrofit and workplace projects where thoughtful spatial reorganisation and sustainable re-use are central to the brief. Many Derbyshire buildings, whether homes or commercial spaces, have evolved over time; our role is to improve light, flow and performance while respecting their existing character. Residential projects typically involve construction budgets from £60,000–£250,000+, depending on scope.

At reWorks, our fees are structured in line with the RIBA Plan of Work (the Royal Institute of British Architects’ framework that sets out each stage of a building project — from early concept and planning through to technical design, construction, and completion). This approach offers both flexibility and transparency, allowing you to commission the level of service that best suits your project.
For full interior and architectural services on residential projects, we typically charge between 8% -15% of the total construction value of a project. This is in line with industry standards.
